DESTRUCTION OF TEMPLES HAS RUINED PAKISTAN

WARNING SIGNS AND HARD LESSONS FOR BHARAT

PAKISTANIS through wilful destruction of sacred spaces, especially Hindu Temples, have brought on themselves, death, destruction, loss of sovereignty, enmity with neighbours and economic misery.

Many politicians and political parties in India are conspiring and acting to push India that is Bharat down the same road to destruction.

PAKISTAN : LOSS OF SPIRITUAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

The Northwestern area of the sacred land of Bharat, made fertile beyond measure by its rivers Sindhu, Saraswati and their tributaries had many a holy Theertha Sthan , temples belong to Saivites, Vaishnavites, Buddhists and Jains. Gurdwaras, birth places of Sikh Gurus, and Devi temples consecrated over centuries were thriving in the villages and towns.

Many acts of omission and commission by the Wahabi- Salafi rulers of Pakistan and its citizens has led Pakistan to become a failing state, bankrupt, violent, and unmanageable. Lifestyles of Pakistani Mullahs will put Sodom and Gomorrah to shame. Rulers in Pakistan have not only been spiriting away its wealth but even selling its citizens for money.[i]

Imported ideologies have defiled the once holy and pristine lands of Sindhu and Saraswati, distanced the population (presently the Pakistani State) from their vast heritage of spirituality and confined them to material concepts based on animal instincts, limited to survival, power and procreation of species only.

They have not only failed to recognise, retain, and take advantage of the treasure house of knowledge of dharma that was available to them as a matter of heritage, but have proceeded to destroy their very roots. Wilful destruction of Temples has been a part of this process, to distance themselves from their spiritual heritage.

This has resulted in an upsurge of mindless violence, contempt for fellow human beings and clouded judgements. The inability of the rulers to differentiate between Shreyas and Preyas has led to intemperate actions leading to economic debility and hostility with all its neighbours.

‘Sivan Sothhu Kula Nasam’ is a common saying in Tamil. In South India there is a custom, devotees dust even the seat of their pants to ensure that even a speck of dust from a Sivan Koil (Siva temple) is not carried home.

The loot of temples, their destruction and desecration of holy ghats. have led to the collapse of its economy and absence of peace within its borders.

Fed on a steady diet of Jihad and Terrorism by the state and imported ideology[ii], the lack of spiritual base is leading to many acts of omission and commission, including forced conversions, slavery, and FGMs. The rulers of Pakistan (dual citizenships)[iii] have lost any commitment to the welfare of the citizens. Loot and Scoot is the motto of all its elites, generals, bureaucrats, politicians, and businesspersons.

DESTRUCTION OF TEMPLES AND CONSECRATED AREAS

TEMPLES ARE CENTERS OF POSTIVE ENERGY. The important point is that the temple is a neutral entity.[i]

Agamas are clear that protection of Temples is the responsibility of the ruler. He has to ensure that the physical structure and the properties of any temple are protected. Agamas have several instructions in this regard. Any harm caused to temples, or the deities will create problems for the ruler and the subjects.[ii]

Agamas have also clearly mentioned the problems that will arise when the sacred spaces and idols are not maintained with due reverence. Ill effects of non-performance of pujas are many, and adversely affect the material and spiritual well beings of the rulers, the citizens, and the state.

In the case of Pakistan, we can clearly see the adverse effects of the non-observance of agama prescriptions and wilful destruction of temples and sacred spaces. Non acceptance of dharmic principles and adharmic activities have impinged on the spiritual and material ambience of Pakistan adversely.

In Pakistan “Islam got mired in the cycle of global terrorism, driven by radical Salafi ideology”[iii].

The rulers and citizens of Pakistan forgot their responsibilities with respect to their temples and holy sacred places which are holy and exist for the spiritual and material welfare of all.

WAKE UP CALL FOR HINDUS & BHARAT

The Salafi version of Islam of Ibn Taymiyyah , that preached against ‘devotional Islam’ of the Sufis had entered the sub-continent in the fourteenth- fifteenth centuries. The ruthless ultra-orthodox version of Islam inspired by Wahabis has been the bane of the humane aspects of Islam since the eighteenth century.

Idea of Pakistan as an Islamic state, attempting to following the Sharia law in all its aspects has spawned the Pakistani army whose prime motto is Jihad i.e. war against all non-Muslims (including Shia, Ahmedia, Baha’i, Qadiani etc).

In India Salafism and Wahabism have entered and are changing the ambience of Muslim community. Muslims, especially the naïve youth have been brainwashed over the last four decades. Kashmir valley, Kerala, West Bengal, parts of Maharashtra and UP have seen hundreds of mosques being targeted and taken over by mullahs trained in the Middle East.

There is an urgent need for the Muslim community to stop the extremists from taking over the minds of their youth.

Milder form of Sufi Islam is being rapidly displaced. The destruction of temples and the ethnocide of Kashmiri Pandits is a warning of what the future can be in the states of Kerala and Bengal.

It is a matter of great concern that many politicians like Udayanidhi Stalin, playing vote bank politics are actively encouraging anti Hindu feelings in the country. They regularly denigrate Hindus, deities, sacred scriptures and encourage sectarianism.

The politicians of the ruling party in Tamil Nadu i.e. DMK openly call for destruction of Santhana Dharma, i.e. Hindus. Temple lands, and Hundi collections are being misused and spent for purposes not connected with the welfare of Hindu community.

Misappropriation and looting of temple properties, destruction of temples in Bharat as in Pakistan and Kashmir valley will lead to the same results as in Pakistan.

Loss of spirituality, failure of justice systems, and rise of lawlessness. This will encourage anti-national elements, split the population on sectarian grounds and bring ruin to society.

It is time for every Bhartiya to stand up for religious freedom, and protection to adherents of Sanathana Dharma.

[i]The important point is that the temple is a neutral entity. The agamas do not have allegiance to particular king and do not specify which king-….who at that moment by forces of universal law is the ruler of that land…… he could seek the ritual protection of the temple by heeding the agamic injunctions and protecting the temple. this is in line with the Vedic principle of dharmo rakshati rakshitaha (dharma which is protected protects).”[i] The temple Management in the Agamas, Dr Deepa Duraiswamy,

Citizens of these countries do not need to give up their nationality to acquire Pakistani citizenship.
